About Forest Digital Academy
Forest Digital Academy CC is a 100% Namibian-owned technology company, registered as a Close Corporation and established in 2021. We are based in Nkurenkuru, Kavango West, and operate with a digital-first approach that lets us work with people and organisations across the country.
Our focus today is practical: building and maintaining FDA’s own digital presence, exploring small-scale technology projects suited to where we are as a company, and staying closely connected to the community we come from. We believe technology should be useful, accessible, and grounded in the realities of the people who use it.
This website marks the start of a clearer, more transparent identity for FDA as a technology company. We share what we do today and what we hope to build in future, each clearly labelled by its current stage — so visitors always know what is real and what is still a proposal.

Important notice: Forest Digital Academy CC is a registered Namibian Close Corporation. This is a business registration, not an educational accreditation. FDA is not currently accredited by the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) and is not registered with the Namibia Training Authority (NTA). Any training or participant programmes described on this website are proposals only, dependent on funding, partnerships and approvals, and are not currently open for enrolment.

Kavango Digital Transformation Initiative
Phase 1: Proposed Nkurenkuru Digital Employment Pathways Hub • Status: Seeking Funding
The Kavango Digital Transformation Initiative is FDA’s proposed long-term programme to expand digital opportunity across the Kavango West region, starting from our home base of Nkurenkuru. It is designed to grow in phases as funding, partnerships and capacity allow.
Phase 1, the proposed Nkurenkuru Digital Employment Pathways Hub, is currently at the seeking-funding stage. It is not yet operating, and no dates, enrolment or admission process exist for it at this time.
Location: Nkurenkuru, Kavango West, Namibia • Funding disclosure: this project is not yet funded and has no confirmed funders.

This describes FDA’s proposed model for a future participant journey. It is not an active programme, and no part of it is open for enrolment at this time.
Where We Hope to Go
- Concept & Planning — Defining the Kavango Digital Transformation Initiative and its first phase in detail.
- Seeking Funding (current stage) — Engaging potential partners and funders to make Phase 1 possible.
- Preparation — Finalising plans, location and requirements once funding is secured.
- Launch — Opening the first phase to participants, once everything is ready.
- Growth — Learning from Phase 1 and exploring further phases across the region.
This roadmap describes FDA’s current hopes and intentions. Timelines, funding and outcomes are not guaranteed and may change. FDA does not publish grant amounts, budgets, proposed funders, or projected participant or employment numbers until they are confirmed.
